How do I book?

The easiest way to book your holiday is via our website. Simply choose your campervan and see which dates are available, choose the dates to suit you and fill out the online booking form.

If you are having any problems we can help over the phone, however if we’re unable to take your call please leave a voice message or email us letting us know when would be a good time to call you back. Please note that a reservation is only confirmed once we have received your booking deposit and we’re unable to hold dates without it.

What’s included in the hire price?

Your selected campervan for the duration of your booking dates, fully inclusive insurance, breakdown cover and unlimited mileage.

Can I leave my car with you?

Yes you can leave 1 car with us when you collect your campervan free of charge. Your car will be left in our locked yard with CCTV but please note this is at your own risk and we accept no liability.

Can I pay a deposit now and the balance at a later date?

Yes you can pay a £195 deposit to secure your booking, this is non refundable. The remaining balance is due no later than 6 weeks prior to your collection date.

Do you charge a security deposit?

Yes, our insurance stipulates we must charge a traceable security deposit, this is payable by debit or credit card on the day of collection.

What time can I collect the campervan?

Arrival date: Pick up between 3pm and 4pm*
Departure date: Drop off between 9am and 11am*
*Unless otherwise agreed, we will book your collection time slot with you.

What happens if I have an accident?

Don’t admit to any fault in the first instance. Please call 0344 873 8183 within 24 hours of the accident, but ideally within 1 hour as soon as safe to do so.

What happens if I break down?

We make all reasonable endeavours to ensure that all our vans are roadworthy at the time of rental. However if there is a breakdown of any sort you should call us first if safe to do so and then call the RAC on 0330 159 8714 providing them with the registration for the vehicle.

If the vehicle may be fixed at the roadside then you should be back on your way in no time. If it cannot be fixed you will be relayed back to us or to the nearest garage (this must be confirmed with ourselves in each instance before making a decision).

As a hirer you are responsible for looking after your van. The costs incurred from any mechanical or other breakdown as a direct result of hirer neglect in this regard will be borne by the hirer. (See Terms and Conditions for details).

What happens if something’s not working?

We make all reasonable endeavours to ensure that your van is in full working order when you pick it up, but occasionally things will go wrong. In the first instance, please call us on 01630 698039.

Who can drive your campervans?

If you’re between the ages of 21 and 79, have had a drivers licence for at least 2 years, have not had any more than 6 penalty points on your licence in the last 3 years and have not been refused insurance in the past then you may almost certainly rent one of our vans.

Insurance excess details:

  • 21-22 years old: £1000
  • 23-24 years old: £700
  • 25-75 yers old: £500
  • 76-79 years old: £1000
  • Glass: £100 for replacement, £25 for repair

What happens if I need to cancel my booking?

Your £195 booking deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel more than six weeks before the start of your booking you will forfeit only your booking deposit. If you cancel less than 6 weeks before your holiday, then you will be charged for the full cost of your booking. Gift voucher purchases are non-refundable.

How do I pay?

If you book online, you will be immediately directed to a secure payment gateway where you will be instructed to pay a £195 booking deposit (or the full balance if under 6 weeks away) via debit/credit card or bank transfer, whatever you prefer.

Please note that your rental is not guaranteed until we receive your booking deposit.

You will be sent an e-mail reminder to pay the remaining balance 6 weeks before your booking is due to start. Follow the link on this e-mail to pay, please make payment at this point otherwise your booking will be cancelled and you will lose your deposit.

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you are unable to make immediate payment, communication is key and will ensure your booking goes smoothly.

Do I have to pay the full amount up front?

Only if you make the booking less than six weeks before the start of your booking, otherwise you just pay a £195 deposit.

How long can I hire a campervan for?

There are no limits on how long you can hire one of our campervans for, we’ve had bookings for 3 nights and bookings for 6 months. For bookings longer than 3 weeks please contact us for a tailored quote.

Will you take a security deposit?

When you arrive to pick up the van we will hold a security deposit of £500 on a credit/debit card via preauthorisation. Your money will not be removed from your account, only held there until safe return of the campervan.

Upon the return of the vehicle to us at the agreed time, in the condition it was let, relatively clean and with a full tank of fuel and adblue, this authorisation will be voided. No charges will occur from this authorisation.

We do not expect you to thoroughly clean your van, but please clear out any and all rubbish, wipe down the interior surfaces and sweep the floor before you hand it back to us. Your deposit could be forfeited for any excessive cleaning that we need to undertake.

We will make a charge of £25, in addition to the fuel costs, for refuelling if you fail to return your van with a full tank.

The cost of any material damage will be directly deducted from the security deposit.

Will I need ID to pick up the campervan?

We’ve put together a comprehensive guide to what you need to do to ensure you pass insurance approval. Please ensure you can pass insurance approval before placing your booking as once booked you’ve entered into a legal binding agreement will be liable for all costs. You will need to upload your driver details and relevant documents at least 1 week before your booking is due to commence.

Can I take the campervan abroad?

Please note on the booking form if you are planning on travelling into Europe as we’ll need to upgrade the insurance for your travel period.

Are there any mileage limits?

No, you can travel unlimited miles.

What do I need to bring with me?

The only items we provide in our campervans is:

  • Electric hook up lead
  • Water hose
  • Gas hob kettle
  • Toilet chemical
  • Outdoor table and chairs if requested
  • Gas if requested

All other items such as cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, bedding and cleaning products – and anything else you want, you should bring with you. See our blog for ideas.

How many people could we get in a campervan?

The Hymer Voyager campervan will comfortably sleep 4 people, it has 4 seatbelts, 2 in the front and 2 in the back.

The Carado Wayfarer campervan will comfortable sleep 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults, it has 4 seatbelts, 2 in the front and 2 in the back.

The Adventure campervans will comfortably sleep 4 people, they do however have 5 seatbelts, 3 in the front and 2 in the back so you could take an extra person and tent.

How easy are the campervans to drive?

Our Campervans drive the same as driving any modern car, but are just bigger than some. As with driving any new vehicle, just take your time getting to know your van, then once you’re settled in you can relax and enjoy the ride!

Both our Hymer Voyager and Carado Wayfarer are automatic while our Adventure campervans are manual. All our campervans have cruise control, air con and sat navs.

What fuel do the campervans take?

Our campervans take Diesel.

Can I bring dogs?

We allow well behaved and groomed small-medium dogs, maximum of 2. We politely ask dogs are kept off the seats and bed areas and campervans are returned back to us pet smell and hair free. We charge £20 per hire for upto 2 dogs but please note if the campervan is returned excessively dirty we will charge more for cleaning.

Can I smoke in the van?

Sorry, we do not allow smoking inside any of our campervans, any evidence of this and you will forfeit your security deposit.
